New Human Services Assistant Coordinator

The Board of Trustees for Horizon School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Deanna Riddell as Human Services Assistant Coordinator, for The Horizon School Division, beginning June 18, 2024.

Deanna comes to us with a diploma in Human Resources Management and over 15 years of experience working in healthcare and disability services.

She is a continuous learner with a fondness for personal growth and development and a love for trivia. She has a genuine interest in people and is looking forward to getting to know the valued staff within the Horizon family.

Deanna has been married to her husband Jason for 25 years and they have 3 adult children and a Golden Doodle. Giving back to her community and volunteering are important to Deanna who was raised with the mindset of “if everyone gave a dollar, or an hour of their time.” In her spare time, she enjoys time with family and friends, day trips, sitting around the campfire, and is (trying) to learn to play the ukulele.

Deanna is very excited to join the Horizon School Division team and looking forward to the joys and challenges that the role of Human Services Assistant Coordinator will bring.
