Shelby Asmundson-Hall

Hi! My name is Shelby and I am the Child and Youthcare Worker based out of Vauxhall; catering to the elementary school, high school, and the Mennonite Alternative Program, as well as, supporting other communities and schools as needed. I have been in the human services field for nearly 10 years, working with youth ages 0-24, but most recently entering Horizon School Division in January of 2024. I obtained my Social Work Diploma in 2020 from Red Deer College and now practice as a Registered Social Worker, as well as I also hold my Level 2 Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Through working in the schools, I hope to create a sense of community that is welcoming and inclusive, and to be a positive role model and educator for the youth of our future, while consistently highlighting positive mental health and wellbeing. 

In my free time, you can find me doing anything horse related, dirtbiking, or adventuring with my boyfriend and our two dogs
