Jody Platt

I have been with Horizon School Division for two years now and I love my role here. Before joining the FSLP team at Horizon, I worked for almost 15 years in the area of family violence prevention and crisis intervention, with an educational background in criminal justice studies. The passion I have for mentoring, coaching, and supporting mental health and wellness is huge. I love it. Naturally, my current role is a great fit. 

I have two amazing kids. My daughter is 21 and currently attending the University of Lethbridge. My son is 14 and attends W.R. Myers High School. I love the outdoors (when the weather is good), camping, quadding, doing the griddy (better than my son) and watching Netflix. 

I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your children. It is so rewarding to see all the amazing skills the students are learning. My hope is to continue building solid relationships with all the students and staff and help build a healthy, kind, resilient community.
