Born and raised in Lethbridge, Joey spent 11 of the past 12 years living in Busan, South Korea working as an ESL teacher/instructor for kindergarten, grade school, middle school, high school, and university students. There, he discovered his passion for developing therapeutic relationships with students. Building on his BA in Psychology, he decided to return to these roots and pursue counselling. He recently completed his Master of Counselling Psychology degree and is enjoying his experience of working with students in Horizon School District. He desires to learn from all of his experiences and hopes to continue to develop as a person and counsellor in the his role here. He will be serving his first full year as an FSLC in 2017/18.
