New Vice Principal at Taber Christian Alternative School commencing 2019-2020

Horizon School Division Welcomes

New Taber Christian Alternative School Vice Principal,   Wendy Peters

May 6, 2019

Horizon School Division No. 67 is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Wendy Peters as one of the new Vice Principals of Taber Christian Alternative School, effective the 2019-2020 school year.

After obtaining a BA at the King’s University in Edmonton in 1999 Wendy went on to complete a BEd at the University of Lethbridge in 2001. Wendy also began teaching for Taber Christian School in 2001, long before the school amalgamated with Horizon School Division No. 67, in 2009. I guess we can say that Wendy came with the school; we are very fortunate for that!

Wendy and her husband Dan live in Taber, with their 4 children: Rachel, Haylie, Travis and Jorja.

In her spare time Wendy enjoys camping, running, reading, playing piano, travelling and relaxing with friends.

Wendy shares that she enjoys teaching at the Junior High level and coaching and helping out with the school musicals as well.

In speaking to her new adventure, Wendy states she is “excited for this new role” and is “Looking forward to working with the staff of TCS in this new position.”

Please join us in congratulating Wendy on her new assignment commencing the 2019-2020 school year.
